Harvesting

A thin sheet of glass is inserted into a hive. A gentle current is turned on and the bees will sting the glass, leaving the stinger intact and venom behind. The current is turned off, and the bees return to their usual day of making honey. The glass sheets are removed and put into special freezers. Once the venom has frozen and preserved, it is scraped and run through a purification system to become a refined powder.
